When a new order arrived on behalf of 11-year-old Lewis from Harlow in Essex, we were keen to ensure we gave this little lad something to leave him speechless. MurWalls is the only Official Licensed supplier of graffiti art for West Ham Utd and Liverpool for domestic homes, and his dad had seen examples of our work and was determined to give his son a legendary bedroom in the lad's favourite team strip.
'I was amazed by what I saw, so I contacted MurWalls, to get involved and help me accomplish a dream come true for my son.'
Being a Hammers fan is in Lewis's blood with dad and younger sister also avid supporters of the team. It was 21-year-old defensive midfielder Declan Rice that really motivated this young fan and being already capped for England, last year he made seven appearances for the national quad and he is undoubtedly a great role model and popular with fans of all ages. As a West Ham player, he has risen through the ranks of junior matches to play in the first team and made over 50 appearances will still be a teenager, the first player to do that.
Lewis was keen to see his idol immortalised on the bedroom wall and we were only too happy to help, combining a portrait of the player, the image chosen by Lewis was Rice celebrating his very first senior goal for West Ham United which came against London rivals, Arsenal FC alongside the club badge and his name. Of course, the work was presented in the familiar claret, blue and yellow of the team. The artwork was completed in one day, in time for the big reveal to a very excited Lewis, who was delighted if a little speechless for a while there and his sister who was also thrilled by the massive work of art.
Lewis said, 'I can't believe it, it is a dream come true, this is my West Ham United themed bedroom' and we are so happy that he is so made up with the fantastic finished design.
We are often asked about painting for other clubs, so we are excited to soon announce the next clubs to join the MurWalls brand. MurWalls provide a professional service, priding ourselves on the relationships we have built and look forward to announcing more teams as they go live in the near future.
